New Fridge - Indiana Style

Don't laugh ... it works!

I made Homemade Chicken and Rice soup yesterday evening ... more like bedtime!  It was still boiling hot when it was time to put the kids to bed and there was way too much of it to try to get it all into small containers to cool it down.

So I did what any Indiana Farm Wife would do in the winter time .... I sat the whole darn pot out on a stump!  Works like a charm!  I just love my winter fridge!

Triple Trouble

Jay, Meg and Sam ... Triple Trouble in a Chinese Restaurant!

This evening we took the kids out for chinese and to the grocery store!  The never slowed down a bit and skidded around every corner in the store.  They're loving this new found freedom of not being in a shopping cart or stroller of any kind and there is more of them than me!

Did I tell all of you that I have 4 year old triplets and I'm a Grandma?  Some days they're up for grabs for the day!
(Dana ... you up to it?)

It's Cold Outside

Brrrrr .... it really is cold outside.  This is the wood burning stove (on the back porch) that Von refuses to give up!  Hey, it's free heat!  Maybe I should have taken a picture of the thermometer on the wall behind the stove that says ninety-two degrees in here!  Oh well .... thirty-three degrees outside, so I just open a window!

Christmas Again

More Christmas!  More Princess!

Tonight, all my older kiddo's came to celebrate everyone's birthday, and we did Christmas all over again since Jared and Elissa made it home from Mississippi this weekend.

Handmade by God

Happy "Birth" day Trace Cooper! What a honor to get to be a part of your entrance into this world today.

Thanks Mandy and Mike for allowing me to share your day. You have a very blessed little boy. He truly is one of the most beautiful little guys I've ever seen ... and so perfectly handmade by God!
